PM Modi in Noida: Jewar to get India's biggest airport, new Metro stations inaugurated

As the notification of Election Commission sets in, PM Narendra Modi has been inaugurating various projects and schemes across the country and today, he addressed a mega rally in Noida.

He inaugurated projects worth crores, which includes Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute of Archeology at Knowledge Park- 2 in Greater Noida. A statue of Deendayal Upadhyaya was also unveiled at the institute.


UP CM Yogi Adityanath, who was present at the inauguration event, has attacked the Opposition and said, “All the tasks which were impossible for Congress, BSP, & SP, have become possible because Modi is there. Namumkin ko mumkin banane ka naam hi hai 'Modi'.”

PM Modi also inaugurated the long awaited Noida City Centre- Noida Electronic City metro line, which will provide a new and faster convenient faster route to the citizens of Noida. The new line which extends to 6.6 kms of Delhi Metro’s Blue Line will be a much-relief for the residents and office goers.

Earlier, PM Modi inaugurated the metro line in Ghaziabad and even took a ride while returning Delhi. He tweeted saying, “Came back to Delhi from Ghaziabad via the Metro. Had delightful interactions with fellow passengers.”

In the announcement in Noida, PM Modi has mentioned that “To improve connectivity from here, the country's biggest airport is being constructed in Jewar. All formalities regarding this decision are complete.”
