Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi's Khaat Sabha campaign with Uttar Pradesh farmers took a hilarious turn yet again on 14 September, when the locals began decamping with khaats (cots) from the venue, this time in Mirzapur, despite a specific announcement made to not take them away.
Rahul Gandhi's Khaat Sabha is part of party's campaign for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly election.
Locals took away the cots soon after Rahul Gandhi's public meeting ended. In fact, a local also expressed disappointment after he could not find a cot to take home from Rahul Gandhi's sabha. This time, the locals were specifically asked to leave the wooden cots and leave.

This is the second time during Rahul's Khaat Sabha campaign that farmers were seen clamouring for the khaats at the end of the interaction. Earlier this month, after people started fighting over the cots and left with them soon after Rahul Gandhi's speech at the ground in Deoria ended.
