Indian Air Force strikes at Jaish terror camp in PoK, Mamata Banerjee calls IAF as ‘India's Amazing Fighters’

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reacted hours after IAF strikes Jaish terror camp in PoK. Reportedly, Indian Air force Jets dropped 1000 kgs bombs at Jaish-e-Muhammed (JeM) terror camp in Balakot, Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) on Tuesday morning, days after Pulwama attack.

Reacting to the move by Indian Air Force, Mamata Banerjee termed IAF with a new title. In the tweet, Mamata Banerjee said IAF also means India's Amazing Fighters.


‘IAF also means India's Amazing Fighters. Jai Hind,” Mamata Banerjee tweeted.

Confirming the reports, HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar reacted over the operation and has congratulated the Indian armed forces for successfully carrying out the attack in PoK. Prakash Javadekar, while interacting with the media said, “We are proud of the Indian armed forces who have carried out the entire operation.”

India has conducted pre-dawn strikes on the terror camps of Jaish-e-Mohammad across Pakistan Occupied Kashmir late night at 03:30 am by 12 mirages 2000 fighter jets.

The first official confirmation of the operation was tweeted by Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare.
