Hasin Jahan, wife of cricketer Mohammed Shami steps into politics; joins Congress ahead of polls
Hasin Jahan, the estranged wife of a cricketer Mohammed Shami is ones again in the headlines. Earlier, she was all over on the internet for media exposing her husband's alleged affairs with multiple women but this time she in news for herself. Hasin Jahan has now made her debut in politics. She has joined the Great Grand Old party Congress.
Ms Jahan was inducted to the Congress by the party's Mumbai President Sanjay Nirupam on Tuesday. Hasin Jahan is a model by profession had accused her husband Mohammed Shami, Indian Cricketer that he had abused her physically and mentally. She had also alleged that his family had tried to kill her.
Hasin Jahan had also released the screenshots of the chats between Shami and his alleged girlfriends. Later, on April 10, Jahan had filed a domestic violence case against Shami and others in Kolkata's Alipore Court and also sought maintenance from her husband.
Meanwhile, Shami had denied all the allegations made by his wife Hasin Jahan. Well, it will be interesting to see Jahan's entry in politics. As the seasons of polls are on the way.
