After a poll debacle in Madhya Pradesh, former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has warned the Congress party for jumping the boats and has said that he is still in the game.

Taking a line a from the famous Bollywood flick of Salman Khan, Tiger Zinda Hai, Shivraj Singh Chouhan has warned the Congress party saying, “Tiger abhi zinda hai.”

While he visited his constituency, Budhni, with full gratitude the BJP leader told the gathering that, “No one needs to worry that what will happen to them. I am still here. Tiger abhi zinda hai.”

During the poll campaigning, the Madhya Pradesh’s former CM had again taken the help of a Bollywood song to target Congress president Rahul Gandhi, wherein he meant that he was from the state of MP but Gandhi was an outsider. Shivraj had said, “Tum to thehre pardesi saath kya nibhaoge.”

In the recent assembly elections of Madhya Pradesh, the Congress party raced ahed of the BJP in a tight contest wherein, they received 114 seats and the BJP was stuck at 109. As the majority mark was 116, it was the Mayawati’s BSP and Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party which extended unconditional support to the Congress to form the government. The BSP had received 2 and the SP had 1 seat with independents getting 4.

But, it was the towering figure of Shivraj Singh Chouhan and his identity of a farmers son, which led the BJP to 109 seats otherwise it could have been a complete rout like that of Chhattisgarh.
