Delhi deaths: Shocking! Three girls below 10 years starved to death in India’s capital

A shocking and really sad incident took place in the country’s capital where three children, all aged below 10 years have lost their lives. The reason for their death will give you goosebumps. As in their autopsies, it was found that they died due to malnutrition and starvation. Yes, the children named Mansi (8), Paro (5) and Sukho (2) found unconscious in a pool of vomit at their home in east Delhi’s Mandawali on Tuesday morning.

 


 

According to the reports of TOI, the hospital where children were taken, it was found that they died due to starvation, declared by Dr Amita Saxena, medical director of Lal Bahadur Shastri (LBS) Hospital.

She told that ‘the postmortem report of the three minors have clearly shown their death reason and their autopsies reports have been sent to the divisional commissioner.

As per the reports, the five-member consist family got shifted last Saturday to a one-room set in Pandit Chowk, Mandawali, after being forced out from their previous home in the same slum for not paying the rent.

The father of the three children is a rickshaw-puller have a job for two weeks due to his rickshaw got stolen. The mother is unstable while the kids had to fend for themselves. Moreover, Mangal (father) was on job hunting for a few days and didn’t return till then.

Reportedly, Mangal’s wife, Bina, is mentally unstable, which left her children to fend for themselves.

However, Delhi government has ordered for the inquiry into the matter. Police have started doing the investigation. Meanwhile, in the report of the children autopsies it was found that they got died due to starvation. For more confirmation, Police went for a second postmortem exam.
