PM Modi on Tuesday announced that he will go on a whole day fast against 'disruption of Parliament by oppositions that meant that the budget session of parliament was a lost cause. Reacting to the PM's fast, Delhi CM and AAP chief called the fasting protests 'cute'. The Delhi CM took Twitter to threw a shade at the PM Modi and BJP's 'fast' plan.

Arvind Kejriwal posted on Twitter: “Now that’s really cute .... just one day fast... against himself.”

Earlier the opposition Congress stated PM Modi's decision to observe a day-long fast against oppositions disrupting the Parliament session as a 'farce'.

The Congress also asked Prime Minister Modi to apologise over his party's disrespect to the House.

‘This is a farce of a fast by Prime Minister Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The fast should be to seek an apology from the children whose lives have been jeopardised due to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Staff Selection Commission (SSC) scams. They (BJP) should tender an apology to the Dalits,’ Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala told ANI.

As we reported, earlier Congress party chief Rahul Gandhi sat on fast for a day at Rajghat to protest against the BJP government and non-functioning of the Parliament.
