Zayn Malik, ex-One Director star, has spilled the beans on his much anticipated solo project. The 22-year-old has signed a solo deal with RCA Records which also handles the likes of Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, Chris Brown and Christina Aguilera amongst others.
Announcing the news on Twitter, Malik posted:

The singer generated a huge buzz around his sudden exit from popular musical band, One Direction. While he had claimed that he wanted peace for himself and therefore he took the decision, his fans never really believed it. However, as per his Twitter announcement, one can conclude that now he wants to show the world "Who I really am".
Following the news, Malik's former boss and X-Factor co-judge, Simon Cowell took to Twitter to congratulate him. His post reads:
