Desh mein Modi, Uttar Pradesh mein Yogi Adityanath, says VHP's Sadhvi Prachi

Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Sadhvi Prachi has said that BJP MP Yogi Adityanath should be nominated as the party's chief ministerial candidate ahead of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

"Desh mein Modi, Pradesh mein Yogi" (Modi at the centre, Yogi in the state) she told Pradesh18, adding that the firebrand MP would "bring relief to the members of the Hindu community in UP".

Prachi said that while the BJP has a number of capable leaders that the party could project as Chief Minister for the 2017 UP Assembly polls, Yogi was the best option. She told Pradesh18 that the MP was the face of the youth and that his appeal would help draw voters.

'Uttar Pradesh ki majboori hai, Yogi Adityanath zaroori hai'(Yogi Adityanath is necessary for Uttar Pradesh), she added.
