BJP MP Hema Malini's car hit by another vehicle in her convoy

It was a narrow escape for actor-turned-politician Hema Malini after two cars in her convoy collided with each other near Jai Guru Dev temple in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on 30 April, .

Reportedly, nobody was injured in the mishap.

According to a source, the BJP MP's car slowed down at a speed breaker and got hit by another car in her convoy. As per latest reports, no FIR has been registered yet.

July 2015 accident

In July 2015, a minor girl died and at least four persons were injured when Hema Malini's Mercedes hit an Alto in Rajasthan's Dausa district.

The accident had sparked off a controversy after it was revealed that while Hema Malini was given VIP treatment and taken to a private hospital in Jaipur, the other injured people were referred to a government hospital. There were five occupants in the Alto - 2 women, 2 children and a man.

The actress had fractured her nose in the accident. Hema Malini was proceeding to Jaipur from Mathura in her Mercedes Benz while the other vehicle was going to Lalsoth from Jaipur.
