Vaishno Devi Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu Goddess, located in Katra at the Trikuta Mountains within the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Every year millions of people visit here to show their devotions. Besides this, trip to Vaishno Devi is also adventurous one because of the route that leads you to the temple. You will be required to trek for at least 12 km to the temple from Katra that is a base camp. Another interesting part of the temple is that it is naturally formed rock structures that are known as pindies. 2. Kamakhya Temple:

The Kamkhya temple is one of the best Durga temples of the country where you can celebrates you Navratri holiday this year. It is situated in Guwahati at Nilachal hills. It is to be believed that Kamakhya temple is one of the oldest temple that has at least 10 deities within the complex. Here you celebrates your weekend with full of joy and pomp. It is said that here Sati's genitals fell, where the temple stands now. Navratri is the best occasion to see the beauty of the holy place.

3. Karni mata Temple:

Karni Mata Temple is one of the famous temple situated in Bikaner and it was built in dedication to Karni Mata. The temple is famous because of rats. Therefore, it is also known as rat temple. It is believed that there are at least 20,000 black rays rats. They are highly revered by devotees also called as kabbas.

4. Naina Devi Temple:

The another Durga temple that you can visit this Navratri is Nain Devi temple that is situated in Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh.The story behind the temple is quite interesting that attracts devotee to visit this temple. It is to be believed that here Devi Sati had jumped into a yagna and killed herself. Lord Shiva performed Tandava on the death of Sati to alarmed all the Gods. Lord Vishnu released his chakra that went and cut Sati's body into 51 pieces. Here Sati's eyes fell, therefore the temple stand on this place and known as Naina Devi temple.

5. Durga Mandir:

This is the famous temple at Varanasi. The temple is also known as 'Monkey Temple'. The temple is situated in the southern part of city in Ramnagar of Banaras. It receives thousands of devotees every day.
