The champ John Cena and longtime girlfriend Nikki Bella were supposed to tie the knot on May 5 but a week shy to their marriage they parted their ways. The duo was in a relationship from past six years. Post their breakup Cena and Nikki were indirectly taking a dig on social media. If reports are to be believed then John was in a mess post the breakup.

In an American talk show, the WWE superstar John Cena revealed that he hopes that all will work out in the end.

John said, "I love her. I want to be with her. I want to make her my wife. I want to be the father of her children. I just want us to work. And that's all from my heart.
It's up and it's down. I've always been honest with you guys, I also don't want to ruin the viewers' morning by giving them a bowl of sadness soup. It's been up and it's been down,"

One of the fans wrote on his Twitter that "Cena just made the most incredible plea for love with Nikki Bella @BellaTwins. He wants her back! @WWE #JohnCena."

Another fan tweeted, "Listening to John Cena talk about Nikki Bella on the today show."

Another fan wrote, "Even if this is all for ratings, seeing a man who said he NEVER wanted children, go on live TV and declare he wants to father the love of his life's children melts my cold dead heart. I'm so here for this."
