Hawaii Volcano Eruption and aftermath; dramatic visuals inside

US President Trump declared a major disaster in the Kilauea island of Hawaii days after series of earthquake and volcanic eruption.
The threat of violent explosions prompted authorities to close the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on Friday until further notice.

Kilauea volcano erupted on May 4. Toxic steam of lava was released across Hawaii’s Big Island. This forced evacuation of more than 10,000 people from within the danger zone.

The National Park surrounding the danger zone has been shut down over the fear of flying boulders.

Geologists are now warning that a possible explosion of the summit could be the largest in over 100 years.

Lava on Hawaii’s Big Island has destroyed over 35 homes and other buildings. 1,700 people have been evacuated.  Residents of the island’s eastern corner were allowed to return but told to be ready to leave “at a moment’s notice.
