UP Crime: Mother sexually harasses stepdaughters; makes them watch absurd videos

A shameful incident was reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh where a 47-year-old woman sexually harassed her step-daughters. The incident came to light when her eldest stepdaughter filed a complaint against the woman.

As per TimesNow reports, the woman (accuse) married victim’s father this year in February after meeting him on Facebook. The victim’s biological mother died last year in February.


The victim told TOI that her stepmother, who claims to be a nurse used to give them some drugs on the pretext of improving their physical health and later she used to sexually molest her and her other two minor sisters. Not just this, after drugging them she even used to show them porn videos.

The girl wasn’t able to bear her stepmother’s harassment so she approached the police and narrated her ordeal. The police have registered the case against the woman under Section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of Indian Penal Code and relevant sections of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act.

On the based of the victim's complaint police swung into action and arrested the accused in Agra. 

In a similar incident, a 17-year-old girl filed a complaint against a man for sexually assaulting her on the pretext of marriage. The victim told the police that she met accuse first time in September 2019 and exchanged the numbers. After a few days of chatting, they came into a relationship. She further added that once she met the accused at Dadar’s Shivaji Park Chowpatty where he sexually assaulted her promising her marriage.
