Rajasthan: 7 childhood friends killed after their speeding SUV rammed into truck

In a shocking incident came to light from Rajasthan’s Churu district where seven childhood friends killed in a car accident on the wee hours of Sunday.

The accident took place after speeding SUV rammed into a trailer truck near Nyama village on the Fatehpur-Sujangarh national highway.


As per media reports, there were 8 people in the car and seven people lost their lives while one sustained critical injuries.

The deceased hailing from Sikar and Fatehpur were identified as Rafiq (35), Imran Khan (32), Imran Khan alias Gandhi (35), Gazi Khan (30), Iqbal (30), Islam Khan (20) and Babu Khan, Churu Superintendent of Police Tejaswani Gautam told media.

The injured man was rushed to a nearby hospital in Sujangarh town. The passengers in the car were on their way to Degana from Nagaur district when the accident happened.

All of the seven people died on the spot. While the truck driver and his helper flee away from the spot.

Rajasthan CM also expressed his condolence over the death of seven people on his official Twitter handle.

"Deeply saddened to know of a road accident in which seven people have lost lives at Salasar Fatehpur Road in Salasar area, Churu. My heart goes out to their families. May they find strength. Prayers for a speedy recovery of those injured," he tweeted.

 

Meanwhile, people of their locality also shattered after hearing this heartbreaking news because they all were childhood friends who played together, studied together and even died together.

Moreover, Police are investigating the matter.
