Namaste! Donald Trump: POTUS, Melania Trump first official trip schedule to India

India is all set to welcome United States President Donald Trump today. He will remain in India for two consecutive days. This will be the first official trip of Trump to India. To welcome US President, Prime Minister Modi has reached Ahmedabad an hour before POTUS arrival.

However, preparations are in the final stage as only a few minutes are left in the arrival of Trump who is accompanied by his wife Melania, and daughter Ivanka, son-in-law Jared Kusher and other top delegates.

The official schedule of Trump’s meetings in India has been issued by the ministry of external affairs.

24th February schedule:

1. 11:40 am:

Trump will arrive at Ahmedabad at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport

2. 12:15 pm:

POTUS will visit Sabarmati Ashram

3. 1:05 pm:

Namaste Trump event will begin at Motera Stadium

4. 3:30 pm:

Trump will leave for his Agra visit

5. 5:15 pm:

He will visit Taj Mahal

6. 5:45 pm:

US President will depart for Delhi

7. 7:30 pm:

Donald Trump will reach at Palam Air Force Station in Delhi

25th February Schedule:

1. 10:00 am:

Donald Trump will participate in the ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhawan

2. 10:30 am:

Trump will visit the Samadhi place of Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat

3. 11:00 am:

The meeting will begin between PM Modi and Donald Trump at Hyderabad House

4. 12:40 pm:

Exchange of agreements and press statement at Hyderabad House

Meanwhile, lakhs of people have been gathered at the newly-built Motera Stadium to witness the ‘Namaste Trump’ event.
