Man kills brother for slapping his wife

A shocking news was reported from Mumbai's Kandivali area where a man allegedly killed his elder brother. The incident took place on Thursday when the brothers engaged in a fight over stepping out of their home amid the COVID-19 lockdown.

As per police, accuse identified as Rajesh and his wife on Wednesday stepped out of their house to buy groceries in the afternoon. When the couple returned from the market, the deceased identified as Durgesh questioned them about the urgency to buy groceries amid the lockdown.


Following this, an argument ensued between the brothers and in heat of the argument, Durgesh slapped Rajesh's wife. Later on, Thursday Rajesh who was in anger attacked his younger brother with a kitchen knife.

Durgesh who had sustained serious injuries was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The police have arrested the accuse and have booked him under several sections of Indian Penal Code for killing his own brother.
