The matter took place within the territorial limits of Kavi Nagar Police Station. As per the police, the victim woman and the accused minor boy were participants of a common student group on Telegram.

During the interrogation of class 6 boy, he told police that somebody had hacked his mobile phone and he had no idea about the messages.

According to the details given by the woman, the accused texted the woman for the first time on May 7 to ask something about studies. In a bid to establish his image in a woman’s mind, the boy kept on talking about studies. On May 17, he sent a few morphed photos of the woman and threatened her.

Reportedly, the boy collected the pictures of the woman from her social media account and edited them, according to a report of The Times of India.

The woman got scared and switched off her phone. However, she filed a complaint after she revealed her ordeal to her family and friends. The woman was worried that the accused would hack her phone again and morphed her pictures and circulate them.

On the other hand, the accused boy and his parents have dismissed all the allegations leveled by the woman. He alleged that his phone was hacked.
