Actor, model and PETA spokesperson Pamela Anderson has finally come back to the mothership - Baywatch - and the cast of the film could not be more excited. The gorgeous 48-year-old mom who achieved cult status post her role in the TV series of the same name joins Dwayne Johnson - The Rock, former High School Musical star Zac Efron and our very own Priyanka Chopra in the much awaited film that centres around life guards.
So excited was The Rock, that he immediately took to Instagram and announced the happy news to his 49.5 million followers. The world has been getting peeks into the film, and the cast and crew thanks to Dwyane's faith chronicles.
Writing about Pam's decision to join the film's cast, he wrote: "She introduced the world to 'CJ Parker' and became one of the most iconic characters of a generation -- for the most successful TV show of all time. A pleasure to welcome (as gorgeous as ever) Pamela Anderson to our Baywatch cast. We couldn't have made this movie without you. Welcome home. Thrilled you had a blast with us! #PamAnderson #OS #OriginalSmokestack
Original smoke stack is right, sir. The lady still looks like a million bucks after all. However, Pam isn't playing CJ Parker in the film, that honour's gone to model-actress Kelly Rohrbach. Directed by Seth Gordon, the film is about a group of (very good looking lifeguards who join forces with an ex-Olympian (the dreamy Zac Efron) to save their territory from a notorious villain, Victoria Leeds (PC).
The film also stars Alexandra Daddario, David Hasselhoff, and Ilfenesh Hadera. The film releases on May 19, 2017 in the US.
