Vikrant Massey is among one such actor who has built his niche in Bollywood even after coming from the TV industry. He is a true example of acting capabilities and with this, he proved his mettle for the film industry. Broken but Beautiful actor who made his debut with Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha’s starrer Lootera recently opened up on his struggle from TV to Bollywood.

Post Sushant Singh Rajput’s death many celebs came out and revealed their bitter experiences regarding on-going nepotism in the industry. Reacting on the same Vikrant revealed that he was nominated for the best actor jury category by a popular award function, however, he was not invited to it. Yes, you read it right! the actor didn’t reveal the name of the film rather added that he is not bothered because the system works like this.

He further opened up on how he bagged his debut film alongside Ranveer and Sonakshi. He said that when he went up for audition he was rejected and was told, “TV actors ka kuch nahi hoga films mein” and rejected him. However, 20 days before the shoot started he received a call from makers who told him that he is selected for the Ranveer’s friend role.

Calling it sheer luck, Chhapaak actor concluded by saying, "A career in Bollywood is a mix of luck, opportunities you get, choices you make and your talent. Instead of saying, mauka nahin milta, one should turn every challenge into an opportunity. I am thankful to all the makers who saw potential in me and cast me in substantial roles. That led to other filmmakers offering better roles.”
