UPSC Result 2017: UPSC Civil Services Exam 2017 final result announced; here's how to check the score

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination final result of 2017 was declared on Friday evening. The applicants can avail the results on the official website of the Union Public Service Commission: upsc.gov.in.

The UPSC Civil Services Exam 2017 results can also be checked on the official website of the Commission- upsconline.nic.in

Candidates who appeared in the written examination of the UPSC, held in 2017, can check the results details and the other details through the official site of UPSC: upsc.gov.in.

On basis of the results of the written examination held by the Union Public Service Commission in October-November, 2017 and the interviews for Personality Test held in February-April, 2018 nearby 990 names were recommended for appointment to (i) Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.

The UPSC examination was held to recruit 980 posts of Indian nationals in Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Services (Group A and Group B) and various other government departments. Out of 980 posts, 54 posts are reserved for reserved categories. The IAS PRE (CSAT) Exam was held on 18 June 2017.

Telangana boy Anudeep Durishetty has topped the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2017, Anu Kumari is the second and Sachin Gupta ranked third in the overall toppers list. Meanwhile, fifteen men and eight women have made it to the top 25 list.
