UPSC Civil Services Exam Update: Few hours left for submission of online application form; apply before this time
Have you applied for the UPSC Civil Services online application form? If not, then good news for you that the Union Public Service Commission has extended the last date for the receipt of the online application form i.e. 19th March 2019. Earlier, the last date to submit the complete online registrations was 18th March 2019.
Therefore, now aspirants have one-day relief to submit their application form. It means candidates who haven’t filled their form yet for the Civil Services examination conducted by UPSC have one more opportunity to submit their form i.e. today.
UPSC has released a total of 896 vacancies for the examination, which also includes 39 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability Category.
Before submitting your application form, candidates are advised to go through the notification available on the website of UPSC at upsconline.nic.in.
However, an application form can be submitted up to 19th March 2019 till 6 pm only. So, candidates hurry up because only a few hours are left for the submission of the online application form for India’s most prestigious competitive exam.
Candidates will have to fill the application form for the preliminary examination of UPSC in two parts. After completing Part-I then only candidates will able to submit Part-II.

Age limit:
The minimum age limit to apply for the exam is 21 years while the maximum age limit is 32 years.
Note: Age relaxation to reserved category will be accorded as per the government norms.
Dates to Remember:
- Last date to submit application form: March 18, 2019
- Date of Preliminary Examination: June 2, 2019
- Civil Services 2019 Main examinations are scheduled to commence from September 20, 2019
- IFS Mains 2019 would be conducted from December 1, 2019
