KVS Admission Form 2020: Waiting for application form? Here’s why delay in announcement of admission dates

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is yet to release the application form for admission to class 1 to class 10. Students are anxiously waiting for the registration process will have to wait for few days as KVS has delayed the announcement of admission dates.

Know why the KVS admission process is not started yet:


As per the notification released at kvsangathan.nic.in on March 3, KVS stated that due to some essential changes/modifications in KVS admission guidelines are underway. Therefore, admission process shall be started after such changes / modifications are effected in KVS Admission Guidelines. KVS will issue detailed instructions/ guidelines very soon regarding this subject.

So, candidates need to keep a close track on the official website of KVS as the admission process can be released anytime now. Once the changes will be made to the guidelines, KVS will start the registration process for KVS Classes 1 to 10.

Earlier, KVS stated in its notification that the admission form 2020 will be released in the first week of March 2020.

KVS will activate the direct link for online registration on its homepage for the upcoming session 2020-21. While the admission list of shortlisted candidates will be released ten days after the application period gets over.

Reservation in KVS:

As per the reservation criteria, candidates of SC category will get 15 percent of reservation while for ST category aspirants 7.5 percent is reserved. While 3 percent reservation for differently-abled children.

KVS admission process is expected to conclude on June 30 across the country.
