Entrance Exams 2021: Important update about JEE Mains, CLAT, NEET, NATA and other exams; deets inside

After the government cancelled the Class 12th board examinations, students are waiting to seek admissions to their dream colleges or universities. Some are planning to take direct admissions while some are preparing to crack the entrance examinations to get the best college or university to complete their further higher education. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the entrance examinations have also been postponed.

Some entrance examinations online application forms' last date has been extended while some have suspended the application process and some forms are yet to be released. If you want to know important updates about the national entrance exams after class 12th then scroll down the article.

NEET 2021:

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 exam is held for admission to the medical courses. NTA is expected to conduct the NEET exam on August 1. However, the online registration process is yet to be started. However, students are demanding to postpone the exam amid COVID-19.

JEE Main 2021:

The first phase of the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main was held in February and the second exam was conducted in March. Now, the rest two phases which were scheduled for April and May have been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The application process has already been closed and the new dates for the exam will be announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) soon.

JEE Advanced 2021

The JEE Advanced entrance exam is held for admission to the IITs. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, JEE Advanced has been postponed. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted on July 3. The new dates are yet to be announced. JEE Advanced exam will be held only after the JEE Main exam is completed.

CLAT 2021

The entrance examination is held for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes offered by 22 law universities across the country. The last date for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 online registration is June 15. The final exam date for CLAT 2021 will be notified soon.

NATA 2021:

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) entrance exam is held for admission to B.Arch courses.

The exam has been rescheduled to July 11.

Earlier, NATA released an official notification and said, “it has been decided by the competent authority of the Council of Architecture that the second test of NATA 2021 examination shall now be held on July 11 instead of the earlier scheduled date of June 12, 2021."

AILET 2021:

The online application process for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) has been extended by National Law University (NLU) Delhi to June 25. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the AILET exam has now been postponed by NLU Delhi. The new dates for the exam will be announced soon.

KCET 2021:

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) will be held from August 28 to 30. The examinations for Math and Biology will be held on August 28. While for Chemistry and Physics paper, the exam will be held on August 29 and the Kannada language test on August 30.

Earlier, the exam was supposed to be held in July but later postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

MHT CET 2021

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) 2021 online application process has been started and will continue till July 7. Candidates who will clear the MHT CET entrance exam will be eligible to take admission to engineer, technology, pharmacy, and agricultural courses across the state.
