CAT Notification 2019: IIM Kozhikode releases official notification; check registration, other schedules

Wait over! The official notification for the Common Admission Test (CAT) released on the official website of Indian Institute of Management (IIM Kozhikode) on July 28, 2019. Therefore, candidates who want to apply for the CAT 2019-20 should get ready to apply for the exam.

As per the notification, the online application process for the CAT exam will commence from August 7, 2019, and it will conclude on September 18th, 2019. IIM Kozhikode will be conducted the exam across 156 cities in the country. While the admit card for the exam will be downloaded from October 23 to November 24, 2019.

While the CAT 2019 exam will be held on 24th November 2019 which will be held in two sessions. However, the result for the same is expected to be declared in the second week of January 2020.

To apply for the exam candidates will have to visit the official website of IIM at iimcat.ac.in. Aspirants who will clear the examination will be eligible to get the admission in management courses, including PGP, PGDM, PGPEM, EPGP, PGPBM, PGPEX, at various IIMs across the nation.

Know the CAT paper pattern:

CAT exam is divided into three sections:

1. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
2. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
3. Quantitative Ability

Eligibility criteria:

Candidates who hold Master's degree must possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent can apply for the exam.

Application fees:

• For General category- the application fee is Rs 1900
• For Reserved category (SC/ST/PwD)- Rs 950
