2011 World Cup winning player Yuvraj Singh is expecting Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya to perform exceptionally well in the upcoming 2019 World Cup. Yuvraj said that he feels Hardik Pandya will deliver special performances for India in the World Cup.

Hardik Pandya is at his best in the ongoing season of Indian Premier League. He is performing well with his bat and is doing well with the ball. Hardik is having a great season and is one of the key player for Mumbai Indians, who have already qualified for the play-offs.

“Definitely, the way he is batting at the moment, it is phenomenal and I hope he carries that form (into the World Cup). He has been bowling well in patches but as I said it is all about how you handle the pressure,” said Yuvraj.

Yuvraj Singh, the 2011 player of the tournament hopes that Hardik continues his explosive form from the IPL to the 50-over tournament. Yuvraj Singh is also the part of Mumbai Indians squad and is laying with Hardik. Yuvraj has not played since last 10 matches and is sitting on the bench since then. Yuvraj started well in the tournament as he scored 53 runs in his first game.

Hardik Pandya has 380 runs from the 13 matches he has played so far. Hardik also holds the record of fastest fifty in IPL 2019 as he hit it in 17 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders. Hardik is in India’s 15-member squad that will travel to England and Wales in late May this year for the biggest 50-over tournament in the world. Looking at his form Hardik will be the first choice for the all-rounder in the team.
