Women's WC: Twitterati, B-Town congratulate Indian girls for defeating Australia by 36 runs

Indian girls on 20 July stunned the world by defeating Australia in the second semi final of ICC Women's World Cup. Unbeaten Harmandeep Kaur scored an extraordinary 171 runs as India defeated Australia by 36 runs.

Chasing a daunting total of 282 just in 42 overs, the six-time world champions Australia were bowled out for 245 in the 40th over.

Other than Villani (75) and Blackwell (90), none of the Australian batswomen were able to stay long at the crease.

With India entering the final of Women's World Cup, twitter flooded with appreciation for women-in-blue. Even Bollywood celebrities hailed Indian Girls for their brilliant victory.
