Watch: Yuzvendra Chahal gets emotional while speaking about MS Dhoni on Chahal TV

An enigma encompassing MS Dhoni’s future continues to mystify the fans on all parts of the globe. Having not featured in an international match since India’s semi-final exit from the World Cup 2019.

Previously, MS Dhoni has stated that no one should ask him question regarding his retirement at least till January but with the month almost drawing to an end, there have been no developments yet. With still no lucidity, most of his teammates have been tight-lipped on the issue.


Earlier, Yuzvendra Chahal got a little emotional while talking about the former skipper on Chahal TV as team India made their way to Hamilton.

On Monday, Chahal TV started as it usually does, the spinner have a playful chat with a teammate and this time it was Jasprit Bumrah. Chahal then went on to speak to Rishabh Pant and Mohammed Shami before moving onto KL Rahul and then Kuldeep Yadav.

However, at the end, Yuzvendra Chahal is witnessed sitting next to a vacant seat, right at the back of the bus.

"There is one person who has never come on Chahal TV. He wanted to come, he was desperate but I said 'no bhaiya, not right now," Chahal said.

But as soon as saying that Chahal got a bit emotional and revealed that the seat belonged to MS Dhoni and is still reserved for the latter.

"This seat is where the legend Mahi bhai use to sit. No one else sits here still and we miss him a lot," Chahal signed off.

Not long ago, MS Dhoni was excluded from the BCCI list of central contracts. However, on the same day, the 38-year-old trained with the Jharkhand Ranji team.
