Jofra Archer of England takes the weirdest wicket in the history of cricket as the ball flies for a six after hitting the bails. Jofra dismissed Soumya Sarkar for just 2 runs in the 4th over of the match. Jofra Archer’s wicket is surely the craziest wicket in 200 years of the game.

Earlier in the day Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bowl first. England started their innings with a bang as their openers set the stage for the team. Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy notched up 128-run partnership stand together before Bairstow was dismissed for 51 runs. Jason Roy went on to score his 9th ODI century and his first of World Cup.

Jason Roy became the third Englishman to hit a century after Joe Root and Jos Buttler against Pakistan. England has three World Cup centuries this year which is their highest ever.

England also posted the highest total of World Cup 2019 as they scored 386 runs from 50 overs. Jason Roy hit 153 off 121 balls, while Jonny Bairstow hit 51 and Jos Buttler scored 64 runs. Mohammad Saifuddin and Mehidy Hasan took two wickets each.
