The resignation of Anil Kumble on Tuesday from Indian cricket coach confirms the ongoing conflict between Indian skipper Virat Kohli and coach Kumble. Now BCCI's Cricket Advisory Committee will soon have to select a new coach for the team.

The board has already asked for the application for the coach. But it would be interesting to see that who would be the first choice for the committee of Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman for the coach.

According to the sources, the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), who is authorised to choose the successor of Anil Kumble would be looking besides the current list of applicants. As per the media reports, the chances of Virender Sehwag, Tom Moody, Richard Pybus, Lalchand Rajput and Dodda Ganesh - who have applied for the post of head team India's coach are very minimum.

As Indian skipper, Virat Kohli's choice for team's coach is Indian team former mentor Ravi Shastri and he has already recommended his name for the same.

The acting president of BCCI CK Khanna has already confirmed that team India will get its new head coach before its tour to Sri Lanka. The assignment of the new head coach will be till the next World Cup.
