Chris Gayle

Whether it's dancing to Gangnam style or driving around in his sizzling Lamborghini, the Jamaican marauder loves to show off how to have a good time when he's not on the pitch. The 35-year-old recently took Instagram by storm after he uploaded photos of his newly-installed strip club at his home built on the hills in Jamaica. The million-dollar three-storey house also provides a fantastic view of the town below. Apart from the basic amenities, Gayle's house is equipped with a dance floor, a theatre, a billiards room and a deck at the back with a view of Kingston.

Sachin Tendulkar

This Indian legend is one of the biggest sports stars in the cricket-frenzy nation and the fact that he owns a super-size five-storey residence in Mumbai only justifies his 'god of cricket' tag. Tendulkar's villa is spread over 6,000 square feet in the upscale locality of Bandra. It has two basements, one of which is strictly booked for his large collection of cars. The ground floor showcases the Little Master's awards and achievements while the second floor is dedicated to his children and guests. The master blaster has reserved the top floor for himself and his wife, while a swimming pool on the terrace adds to the star attraction.

Brett Lee

After selling his Lane Cover property for two million dollars, the former Australian speedster moved into a lavish Seaford Mansion located at Middle Harbour in Sydney. His super-size crib boasts of a pool, spa and a huge gym that is spread over 20 square metres. At a price of $4 million, the right-arm bowler seems to have struck a pretty cool deal for his new residence.

Kumar Sangakkara

Engeltine Cottage, as the home was named by the original owners, 81 years before the Sangakkaras bought it in Kandy, is exactly the sort of place you would expect a man like Kumar would be made. The gated driveway opens up into a substantial, impeccably manicured lawn, with fruit trees and flowers skirting one side, and the gracefully colonial, unmistakeably Sri Lankan bungalow rising up on the other. White pillars hold up a verandah that shades a few pieces of outdoor furniture and a vehicle. Inside, the walls, the artwork, door frames and wooden furniture filled in with rattan weave, exhale old Ceylon. Kumar's old room is at the front facing the garden where he mastered his exquisite cover drives.

Shane Watson

Australian batting sensation Shane Watson and his wife Lee splashed a staggering $9 million to become the proud owners of a contemporary home in Bronte, a beach suburb just over a kilometre's walk south of Bondi, Sydney. The four-year-old house has four bedrooms with a luxurious finish and boasts of a beautiful swimming pool. The Watsons had to sell their $4 million Caringbah South home to grab the luxurious Bronte mansion.

Sourav Ganguly

The former Indian captain has an affluent lifestyle with an elitist mindset as his family is considered to be amongst the top five richest families in Kolkata. The 'Bengal Tiger' owns a palatial house with a staggering 48 rooms and a cricket pitch in the premises. Ganguly's four-storey residence stands in the heart of Kolkata and has become the centre of attraction. The bedrooms, master suites and even the living room have been magnificently decorated with an amazing collection of home decor made of wood. There's also a huge space on the ground floor which caters to a total of 32 flashy cars owned by Ganguly.

Ricky Ponting

In March 2013, the former Australian captain became the proud owner of a swanky mansion in Brighton, Melbourne, after splurging a whopping $10 million. The Shandford estate, which is protected by large wrought iron gates and a seven-camera security system, has seven bedrooms, a billiards room, library, marble fireplace, theatre, pool, full-size tennis court and a private access laneway to the beach. Ponting was earlier living in the Sydney suburb of Burraneer, which he bought for $3.8 million in 2004.
