Former England captain Michael Vaughan slammed Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni after he lost his cool and stormed the field to argue with umpires. Not only Vaughan but others from the cricket fraternity criticised MS Dhoni for his behaviour.

Dhoni was fined half of his match fee for his after he lost his temper and fought with umpires. This was one of the rarest sight we have seen since the Indian Premier League started in 2008. Former Indian cricketer Hemang Badani pointed out that the umpires were well within their rights to overturn the no-ball decision.

Cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle said, “Among the firsts for me in today's game was the sight of Dhoni walking out onto the ground. As @MichaelVaughan said on CricbuzzLive it is something he will realise he shouldn't have done.”

Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra Tweeted from his official Twitter handle, “Umpiring standards have been pretty low in this #IPL and that was a no-ball given and reversed. Enough to feel crossed and miffed. But the opposition captain has no right to walk out on the pitch after being dismissed. Dhoni set a wrong precedent tonight.”

After all this controversy, MS Dhoni still registered his 100th IPL victory as captain as Chennai Super Kings beat Rajasthan Royals by 4 wickets. CSK are now sitting at top of the points table with 12 points in just seven games. CSK is on a road trip and will play Kolkata Knight Riders in their next outing on April 14.
