New Zealand cricketer Jimmy Neesham trolled MS Dhoni fans for giving dumb arguments over the latter’s run-out in Indian Premier League finals. Neesham pointed out that MS Dhoni was clearly out but his fans are unnecessarily defending him.

Neesham in his Tweet mocked MS Dhoni fans and wrote, “I love how passionate some fans are about our sport. I have huge respect for MS but how anyone could see the below photo and say it’s not out truly astounds me.” The Kiwi later deleted the Tweet and wrote that he was sick seeing same dumb comments and that he doesn’t care anymore.

MS Dhoni fans flooded his timeline with pictures from different angles showing that MS Dhoni was not out. They also took a jibe at Neesham and reminded him how he himself was ran-out by Dhoni.

Neesham’s another Tweet read, “I’ve deleted my tweet about MS Dhoni’s run out, not because I’ve changed my mind, but because: 1. I’m sick of seeing the same dumb comments in my feed 200 times a day. 2. I just don’t actually care. Please don’t bother tweeting me about it again. Have a good day everyone.”

MS Dhoni was run-out by Ishan Kishan after Chennai Super Kings lost regular wickets from one side. MS Dhoni who is usually good in judging singles and doubles misjudged and got out. The run-out was genuine as MS Dhoni himself started walking back after looking at the replay on the giant screen. He was stopped by the umpires as the decision was pending.

Chennai Super Kings lost the IPL final to Mumbai Indians by just 1 run. Shane Watson’s heroics went in vain as Mumbai lifted their fourth title and became the most successful team in league’s history.
