KL Rahul shares an enigmatic message after his dismaying performances in West Indies

After his mediocre performance in the World Cup, KL Rahul witnessed a dire dip in his form in the Test series against West Indies. And, this has grown to be a big worry for the team management and the selection committee.

KL Rahul’s performance in Test cricket has come under scanner since 2018. The selectors have manifested a lot of faith in the opener by giving him many opportunities to prove himself, but KL Rahul failed to return the favour.

Notwithstanding that, KL Rahul did score a century against England in India’s away tour of England in 2018. Apart from that, KL Rahul hasn’t played any noteworthy innings till date.

In 2018, KL Rahul averaged 22.23 in 15 Test games, scoring only one century and a fifty. KL Rahul’s overall career average, which was 44.62 has now plummeted to 34.58.

KL saw another dismaying series against the Caribbean side as he failed to score in both the games. Furthermore, as time passed, his form worsened. However, in the first Test, Rahul scored 44 and 38, but in the second Test the opener cumulated 13 and 6.

After every substandard display, KL Rahul faced a lot of criticism from the netizens. Following his dip in form, the twitteratti slammed him viciously, KL, who might have seen those memes , has recently shared an enigmatic post on his Instagram account.

KL Rahul uploaded a picture of himself sporting a t-shirt with the caption ‘No social media’ KL Rahul captioned the photo “The irony”.
