Kevin Pietersen trolled former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar, after the latter shared a picture where he can be seen giving a send-off to the England cricketer. Shoaib Akhtar shared the picture as a motivational post for the travelling Pakistan cricket team who lost their first World Cup match.
Shoaib Akhtar took to his official Twitter handle and captioned the picture, “Blood, sweat, aggression, racing heartbeat, badmaashi. This is whats required when you represent your country. This star on your chest is your pride guys. Tagra khelo. Go get them. Larr jao. #Pakistan #PakvsEng #cwc2019.”
Kevin Pietersen came up with a hilarious reply and wrote, “Can’t argue with that tweet buddy as you’re celebrating after I smacked you all over for a 100...! Great passion!”

Love ya buddy! 👍🏻— Kevin Pietersen🦏 (@KP24) June 2, 2019
The banter didn’t end there as Shoaib reminded Kevin how Pakistan had the last laugh with a 2-0 series win. Shoaib acknowledged Pietersen’s talent but also reminded him of the chicken dance he did after claiming his wicket.
Pakistan will play against England on June 3 after they lost their first World Cup match against West Indies by 7 wickets. Pakistan faced a humiliating defeat against West Indies as they were bundled out for just 105 runs.
