Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to field first.

Kings XI Punjab will meet the Royal Challengers Banglore in the 48th match of the Indian Premier League at Holkar Stadium in Indore.

Just a few matches ago, KXIP were placed on the top of the points table and the team looked in control of everything. However, they lost their momentum somewhere and are presently placed in the lower half of the points table.

Royal Challengers Bangalore are part of the survival race too; the Virat Kohli-led side are currently placed seventh in the eight-team table, and come into this match at the back of a resounding win over the Delhi Daredevils on Saturday night.

Whereas speaking of Royal Challengers Banglore, they have been on the edge of elimination since their dismal initial match performances. One loss and Banglore could be on the other side of the tournament and their pursuit of reaching their first ever title win will come to an end.

The hitter from West Indies has been hitting the ball hard and far amassing fast runs in the process. KL Rahul, whereas has been the most consistent batsman of the IPL. He has instilled a fear in the opposition teams.
