Finally! ‘God of Cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar breaks his silence over comparison with skipper Virat Kohli

Indian skipper Virat Kohli has proven himself one of the fittest skippers in the Indian cricket team. Recently, he has broken the records of the ‘God of Cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar by scoring fastest 10,000 runs in ODIs.

 


 

After this record, Kohli got compared with the Sachin Tendulkar. On the other hand, one can’t forget the contributions of Sachin Tendulkar to the Indian cricket. Also, he has the huge fan following that one can’t calculate. Not only in India but also on other countries, Master Blaster has millions of fans.

 

 

Sachin had already achieved a lot in his career and set many records for other. Even, cricket experts used to say that breaking Sachin’s records is next to impossible.

But, Kohli could do that and has broken the record of the ‘God of Cricket’.

However, Virat Kohli has also earned the title of ‘ Greatest Of All Time’ (GOAT), which has been given by the former cricketers from all around the world.

 

 

If we talk about the Tendulkar and Kohli, then, Indian skipper has played 205 innings while the Tendulkar had played 259 innings for scoring 10,000 runs.

Here's what Sachin said about Kohli:

Sachin Tendulkar has also said about Virat Kohli that he is one of the leading players of all time. Tendulkar also added that he has always seen a spark in Kohli.

On being a comparison of Kohli with him, the Master Blaster said that he doesn’t believe in comparisons. He also added that changes keep on taking place in every generation and hence, it will not be justified to compare two different generations.

Sachin said it during an event organized after the beginning of Tendulkar Middelsex Global Academy’s first India camp at DY Patil Stadium.
