Ajinkya Rahane led team Delhi Daredevils defeated Gautam Gambhir's home team Delhi Daredevils by 10 runs through Dacwarth Lewis method after a heavy rain. Rajasthan Royals came to bat first after Gautam Gambhir chose to bowl first in the toss. Rajasthan made 153 runs in 17.5 overs till the rain didn't interrupt the game.
After doing a long wait lastly rain stopped and the referee decided to give 71 runs target to Delhi in 6 overs match. Delhi didn't be able to get that target and lost the match by 10 runs. Rajasthan Royals' bowler Ben took 2 wickets in two overs after giving 20 runs.
In Delhi's team, Rishabh Pant made 20 runs in 14 balls, whether Glen Maxwell who was playing his first match in the season made 17 runs in 12 balls. Chris Morris tried a hard by hitting two sixes and two fours in making 17 runs but at the last, he got not out.
Well the train definitely turned the game into Rajasthan Royals' hand but still they have a great start in batting and if the rain has not interrupted the game they surely have given 180+ target to Delhi Daredevils.
