Reliance Industries (RIL) chairman and India’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani turned 62 today i.e. on 19th April 2019. The journey of Mukesh Ambani is always the inspiration for everyone.

He is one of the most successful business tycoons who builds his identity not only in India but across the globe.


However, getting such achievement was not so easy for Reliance owner.

1. Born in the middle-class family:

Mukesh Ambani is the eldest son of Dhirubhai Ambani and Kokilaben. He was born on 19th April 1957 in Aden, Yemen. He was born in a middle-class family and used to live in a 2-bedroom apartment in Bhuleshwar, Mumbai.

2. Sports love:

His favorite game was Hockey in his school days and due to which he lost the interest in studies as well.

3. When he had to left MBA:

Mukesh Ambani was pursuing his MBA in California’s Standford University but in 1980, he discontinued his higher studies for his ailing father and had to come back to India. Later, he established the Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY) manufacturing plant.

4. Do you know his nickname?

Ambani is itself a big name in the country but there is also a nickname of India’s richest man. He is called as Muku by his family members.

5. Shy speaker:

Even after listing in the list of 100 most influential people, Mukesh Ambani is quite shy in nature when it comes to speaking in front of the public.

6. Contributor to India’s GDP:

Reliance Industries is almost 5 percent contributing a total tax revenue of the Government of India.
