Kids always gain special attention, be it in real life or in reel life. In the movies too the little kids whom we sometimes see on the screen playing the lead or the side role grab our attention and years after the movie has released, everyone wants to know how that little kid from a particular movie looks like and the same is happening with us wondering about the little Sardar kid named Charanjeet from Gadar movie.
The innocent child who played the role of Sunny Deol’s son in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha also starring Ameesha Patel in the leading role, was one of those child actors whose innocent eyes and amazing acting in the debut movie won the hearts of many. The child is in reality film’s director Anil Sharma’s son, named Utkarsh Sharma.
You might remember the kids and his character well from the one of the hit movies of the 90s era. His performance in one of the songs of the film, 'Udja kale kawan' with his onscreen father and mother was the one that grabbed everyone's attention. Not only this, the powerful eyes that saw the enemies of his father with fierce and fire was a strong point that he gained.
Well now, he has grown up and looks like a handsome hunk. After 18 years of the film's release, he is now again going to be seen on the screen again in a handsomely fascinating avatar in the next film of his career. The 26-year-old boy will soon be playing the lead role in his father's film titled as 'Genius.'
The first poster of the film was shared by Trade Analyst, Taran Adarsh who took to his Tiwtter account and shared the tagline of the film, ‘dil ki ladai dimag se.’ While, his father talking about him said, “My son was there as Jeete in Gadar. He had gone to America for a four-year course in direction and production. Now he is ready to display his skills.”
Talking about the film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, it was a love story of a Sikh man, played by Sunny Deol and a Pakistani girl, played by Ameesha and how the Sikh fights with everyone and goes to every extent to bring his wife back from Pakistan. They became one of the hit jodis of that time and will next be seen together after a long gap in 'Bhaiyyaji Superhit.'
Talking about child actors, there have been many but very few of them have been played with excellence such that they create a permanent image in the minds of the audience and such was the role of Charanjeet. Well, we wish the actor does great in his life and makes his place amongst the long list of successful actors.
