Divya Khosla Kumar's Sanam Re had a fair start at the Box-Office as the film raked in around Rs 5.04 crore on its opening day. Out of three major releases, Sanam Re had the widest release with shows in around 2,000 screens in India.
For a film riding on a lesser known star cast, the opening day numbers are very good. The music and the canvas of the film have played a major role in drawing viewers to theatres on its opening day.

Sanam Re performed quite well at mass centres like Gujarat, Rajasthan, and CI. The film recorded average occupancy of 40 per cent throughout the day.
The Yami Gautam-Pulkit Samrat film should record similar occupancy on the second day as well since the initial reports are not outright negative. The Valentine's Day mood should also help the film hold well in its opening weekend.

The Divya Khosla Kumar directorial is made on a budget of Rs 20 crore and it has the chance to recover the investment through just theatrical revenues.
