It seems that the debate around nepotism, favouritism, groupism in the industry is going to end soon as many stars are coming out and talking about the difficulties they faced while making big in the industry. However this time a Bollywood celeb has come out and has made shocking revelations not about film industry rather TV industry. As we all know that for almost all the successful B-town stars that started their journey as TV actors such as Shah Rukh Khan, Mouni Roy, Sushant Singh Rajput, Radhika Madan, Mrunal Thakur among others it hasn’t come easy.
Now, this list also includes Breathe actor Amit Sadh, who was one of the celebrated actors in the TV industry before making into Bollywood. Recently, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, he opened up on the dark side of TV he faced. He revealed that he was banned by TV industry for being outspoken. A lot of producers called up each other and advised to not to give him work.
He further added, “Toh phir maine kaha, ‘Achcha? Nahi de rahe ho? Toh phir main picturon mein jaaunga.” Not just this, a big TV producer called him and said that his reputation in the industry is ruined en though he’s a great actor. Well, Amit didn’t let this affect him and fearlessly he replied to him, “Sir, galat karoge, ladunga.” In the end, as they say, the rest is history.
Amit went on to shine in Bollywood by doing some amazing characters in the films. He confessed to meeting some good people and how his life changed in a good way eventually. In the interview, he stated that as he grew older he decided to vent out all his anger and frustration into his craft.

Ten years ago, if someone told me that I was going to be a sought after actor, hmmm.... well, I would believe it! 😉You know why? Because acting is not a job for me. It’s a passion, it’s my lifeline. And I have given it my everything in the last 10 years. May be on occasions it’s not been enough, but I have learnt from it and moved on. This journey of a decade wouldn’t have been possible without all those who saw the actor in me as much as I did and who believed that I could pull off those characters they wrote for me. I can only hope that you will continue to give me chances to act and portray different characters and roles in the coming years as well. Big thanks to my audience who kept loving me unconditionally. I may not have done only the best of films, but you all made me believe that I was the best no matter what. Grateful for that, always! ❤️ When I look back at the older stills and scenes, I sometimes feel I could have done this scene better or may be there was a better way to say these lines. However, I believe acting is a process. It’s something you never stop learning and always has scope for improvement. The biggest gratitude to my team - @sayyed_imran09 @taalib_hussain_ @ramesh4217 Prakash, @jobrajprasad @andymenonofficial and everyone else who has been a part of this journey. Team @bling_entertainment, for managing me right since Kai Po Che. We had bit of a rough patch but we have seen it through 🤗 I also want to thank all casting directors for always screen testing me and thinking and imagining that I could play different parts. To all those who aspire to be actors and to my fans who keep asking me on tips for acting, I just want to say there is no tip. Live life and never be shy for an audition or screen test! This is just 10 years. 40 more to go, at least, with your love and blessings. I promise there will be more to celebrate and more roles to be proud of in the years to come. ❤️🤗
Meanwhile, Amit is enjoying the success of his web show Breathe: Into the Shadows, co-featuring Abhishek Bachchan and Nithya Menen. Talking about movies he will be soon seen in Vidhya Balan starrer Shakuntala Devi.
