"Baniye Ka Dimaag, Miyanbhai Ki Daring..."

After the trailer launch of his next with YRF -- Fan, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is out with the teaser of his 2016 Eid release Raees. The video has already gone viral, creating one of the top trends on Twitter. Raees will also clash with superstar Salman Khan's customary Eid release Sultan at the Box Office.

Highlights of Shah Rukh Khan's Raees teaser

1. The actor returns in his 'bad boy' image after playing similar negative characters in films like Baazigar, Anjaam, Darr, Don and Don 2.

2. This close-to-a-minute video gives a glimpse of how Shah Rukh plays a fierce and fearless man, gearing up to build his own reign.

3. While the trailer celebrates SRK, there is not even a glimpse of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is playing a cop in the film.

4. As the trailer opens, we hear Shah Rukh recalling what his mother taught him in his childhood. That "No 'dhanda' is too small and no religion is bigger than the 'dhanda'."

5. The trailer then proceeds to establish that this man named Raees is a smuggler.

Why is the teaser of Raees out so early?

Fan and Dilwale are set to release in April 2016 and December 2015, respectively. Despite their earlier releases as compared to Raees, it is the latter's teaser that is out.

The fashion of releasing a teaser in order to build curiosity among audiences, has just taken a push in Bollywood. Earlier, the makers of Zoya Akhatar's Dil Dhadakne Do too revealed the film's first look a year prior to the film's actual release.

Raaes vs Sultan - One of the biggest clashes in Bollywood history

While Raees stars Shah Rukh Khan, Sultan stars Salman Khan. The two big stars clashed at the Box Office in 2006 and 2008 as well. However, the Box Office mood then was not as it is today. Both Salman and Shah Rukh are equally popular now and their names speak of their fandom and the success of their films.

Raees stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan opposite Shah Rukh Khan.Watch the teaser here:
