Sharman Joshi will essay the character of a police officer for the first time in his career in T-Series' upcoming thriller, Wajah Tum Ho.

While shooting one of the important scenes of the film in Mumbai, Sharman was mistaken by a bunch of youngsters as a real-life cop. Recalling the incident, director Vishal Pandya says,

"We were shooting a nakabandi sequence at the back roads in the afternoon when three young guys on a bike approached us. My assistant was also dressed as a cop and I had my back towards them. They promptly proceeded to offer a bribe to the assistant, concocting a sob story about why they weren't carrying a licence when I turned around. It soon dawned on them that it was a film set. The whole unit had a good laugh!"

Sharman Joshi too recalled the incident, "I told them, 'You are going triple-seat. If you come across real cops, it's at your own risk'."

Wajah Tum Ho is slated to release on 2 December, 2016.
