VIP 2’s Hindi version averts clash with Akshay Kumar’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha

The makers of VIP 2 will release one week later than Akshay’s film

Dhanush and Kajol starrer VIP 2 is going to release in South this week along with Akshay Kumar’s Toilet-Ek Prem Katha. Akshay’s film was supposed to get solo release at box office on Independence Day weekend. Later Makers of VIP 2 announced that their film is releasing onAugust 11. Initially there was a plan that they were to release Hindi, Tamil and Telugu version together. But now they will release Tamil and Telugu version on August 11 and have decided to release Hindi version after a week. So it will not have a box office clash with Akshay’s film

Producer of VIP 2 LALKAR Kallaipulli S. Thanu  says, “VIP 2 has been an interesting and a memorable journey. I'm Proud to release the movie Starring Kajol and Dhanush. I'm sure their fans will love the film and VIP2 Movie will be biggest hit in 2017 in All over India”

 VIP 2 (Lalkar) directed by Soundaryaa Rajinikanth is all set to release on 18th August in North India. The film will see the two prolific actors sharing the screen space for the first time.

The prequel – a Tamil comedy, Drama and Family entertainers of the same name released in 2014 but it continues to hold the same freshness among the viewers and is remembered for its engaging story, soulful music and brilliant performances by Dhanush and Amala Paul.
