Valentine Day Special: Ekta Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali to recreate the love story of 'Laila Majnu' on the silver screen

This is the first that Ekta and Imtiaz will go to work together for a film. Although, Ekta is famous for bringing the bold films while Imtiaz as a filmmaker works for the love stories. His recent film was Jab Hary Met Sejal, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. However, the film did not work well on the Box Office.

After this announcement, the fans of the both will surely get inpatients to see them working together and also wants to know how they will recreate and characterised the character of the famous love story on the big screen.

Remember, Laila Majnu's love story was also on-screened and directed by H.S. Rawali in 1976. So, this will the challenge for them too.
