Tiger Zinda Hai has same characters but different story, says Kabir Khan

Ek Tha Tiger director, Kabir Khan is looking forward to the film sequel, Tiger Zinda Hai directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

In an interview, Kabir revealed that the sequel has a similar set-up but Zafar's interpretation of the lead characters, Tiger and Zoya is completely different.

"As Yash Raj Films has the rights of the series, so Ali will be directing the second instalment. He will go with his vision of Tiger, though the characters and the basic set-up will be the same. The world which was created by me will be the same, but the interpretation will be different,"said Kabir.

The director also confirmed that he has some major plans for the promotions of his upcoming director, Tubelight starring Salman Khan

"We have completed the shoot before schedule. Now the post-production is going on. Still there is a lot of time to release the film, so I have some ideas."

Tubelight releases this Eid.
