This 'Lipstick Under My Burkha' actress to play Priyanka Gandhi in Manmohan Singh biopic
There are many films that are based on the real-life personalities and now one film is going to be made on ex-PM Manmohan Singh. Yes, this is true and actress Ahana Kumra will play the role of Priyanka Gandhi in this film and this is to notice that Ahana was last seen in Lipstick Under My Burkha. After this, it is going to be the first time when Ahana will play a real character.
Vijay Gutte is going to make this film and Shahid fame director Hansal Mehta is also giving support to the film. Ahana will have a transform for her look in this film. Mayank Tiwari has written the screenplay for this film and veteran actor Anupam Kher will be seen playing the leading role of Manmohan Singh. Even actor Akshaye Khanna is going to play the role of Sanjay Baru.
According to Economic Times report, Anupam Kher said, "It is difficult to play the role of any special person of your own time and the reason is that people compare you with them. This is a challenge to me and I ready for it". This is to notice that the film is going to be made on Sanjay Baru's book 'The Accidental Prime Minister'.
