This actor to play lead role in 'Lion King' Captain Vikram Batra's biopic
Sidharth Malhotra's recently released flick A Gentleman has flopped at the box office and his upcoming films Aiyaari and Ittefaaq are the line ups for the release. If the rumours are to be believed, Sidharth Malhotra has signed a biopic, in which he will be seen playing Kargil martyred Captain Vikram Batra.
According to the sources, the makers were in touch with Sidharth Malhotra from a long time and now Sidharth has liked the script of the film. Sidharth even has said that they should tell the heroic story of Vikram Batra to the world.
According to the reports, Sidharth has researched a lot about captain Vikram Batra and now he is very excited for the shooting of the project. This is to notice that Sidharth is also playing army soldier in Neeraj Pandey's film Aiyaari.
During the Kargil war, Captain Vikram Batra was given the target point 5140 for getting it released from Pakistan army. Despite the fact that it was a difficult point, Batra captured the Tiger Hill with his soldiers on 20th June 1999. Batra used the codeword 'Yeh Dil Mange More' for announcing his victory from the hill. A picture showing his team with the flag of India on Tiger Hill won the hearts of many Indians.
