The Burning Train: Jackky Bhagnani to remake Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Vinod Khanna starrer 1980's disaster-thriller

The Burning Train Remake

Bollywood is going through an era of a remake and once again producers are back with 1980’s cult classic film The Burning Train. The film that starred actors Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Vinod Khanna, Parveen Babi, Jeetendra, Neetu Singh among others is going to get its remake that will be produced by Jackky Bhagnani and Juno Chopra.

The film that was helmed by Juno’s father Ravi Chopra and produced by his grandfather BR Chopra will go on floors by the end of the year. As per sources, the film is busy finalizing the cast that will be a multi-starrer just like the original one, also the reboot will have a twist.


Jackky Bhagnani took to his Twitter to announce the good news and wrote, “Delighted to announce the remake of #TheBurningTrain in association with my dear friend @junochopra. A classic by Ravi Chopra sir.Hope we do justice to the magic that he created years ago.@vashubhagnani @honeybhagnani @poojafilms #BRFilms”

The film revolved around a train named the Super Express that catches fire on its inaugural run from New Delhi to Mumbai. The film was the adaptation of the 1975 Japanese movie The Bullet Train. Well, by announcing the remake let’s see will the reboot do the justice to the original film and what twist will makers add that will woo the audience.
